PayClock Has Stopped Working Errors On Windows 7
Posted by Charles Williams on December 09, 2009
PayClock has stopped working errors can occur on Windows 7 with various software updates. This changes cause the PayClock Version 5 Database Engine not to function properly and PayClock would stop working. It is not clear on what changes were made to the Windows 7 Operating System that caused the problem.

Customers using a PC400, PC2000 or PC3500 terminal would need to move the software to a Windows Vista or Windows XP computer to continue to use PayClock Version 5. Otherwise, the customer must upgrade to PayClock Version 6. To move to Version 6, a hardware upgrade is required.

PC50, PC60, PC100, TouchStation and FR700 Terminal users would need to move the software to a Windows Vista or Windows XP computer to continue to use PayClock Version 5. However, it is recommended to upgrade to PayClock Version 6. In upgrading from PayClock EZ Version 5 or PayClock Pro Version 5 to PayClock Version 6, these features are no longer available:

  • Premium Time Zones.
  • Pay Code Adjusters.
