How To Set The Print Direction and Print Activation On The 1000E

The Print Direction on the 1000E can print from the left or right. Activation prints automatically, manually, or both. By default, the print is automatic from right to left To change the print direction and activation:

1. Remove the top cover.
2. Press SELECT. If a password is set, the display will show 99 99.
3. Enter the password. The password is required to access the settings. If it is unknown, the time recorder must be reset. To enter the password:
   • Press CHANGE to enter the first two numbers of the password.
   • Press SET.
   • Press CHANGE to enter the second two numbers of the password.
   • Press SET
4. Press SELECT to position the Indicator Mark next to PRINT DIRECTION/PRINT ACTIVATION.
5. Press CHANGE to select the Print Direction.

6. Press SET.
7. Press CHANGE to select the Print Activation.

8. Press SET to save the change.
9. Press SET again to exit the programming mode.

When completed, the 1000E should return to the normal display
