How can I edit an employee mapped with Quickbooks?

When PayClock Online is synchronized with QuickBooks, certain fields are automatically locked in PayClock such as Employee Name. Typically edits needed to be made to employees are made in QuickBooks and then synced over to PayClock. If for some reason you need to make a change in PayClock Online immediately and will later make this change in QuickBooks there is a way to override the synchronization lock down.

Please Note: If you do not make the changes in QuickBooks before another sync occurs, your changes in PayClock Online will be overridden.

1. Click on the User Menu at the top of PayClock Online.
2. Click Change System Settings in the menu.
3. Select QuickBooks in the navigation list.
4. Check the box next to Allow Users To Edit Employees Synced With QuickBooks.
5. Click Save and Exit.

Please Note: It is recommended to uncheck this option after the edits have been made.
