How To Reset A 5000E

The 5000E has several settings that can be configured. Resetting the 5000E would clear all those configurations. To reset the 5000E:

1. Insert and turn the key 1/4 turn clockwise.
2. Lift and Remove the Top Cover from the Base.
3. Locate the Reset Switch on the left side of the clock.
4. Using a pointed object, such as a pencil, press the Reset Switch.

Once the 5000E is reset, it must be programmed for the date/time and other settings.
