How To Set The Date On A 5000E

Setting the date on the 5000E is essential for accurate time tracking and record keeping.

To set the date on the 5000E:

1. Insert and turn the key 1/4 turn clockwise.
2. Lift and Remove the Top Cover from the Base.
3. Press the [SW5: MODE] key to move the marker over YEAR MONTH DAY.
4. Press the [SW4: YEAR] key to set the year.
5. Press the [SW3: HOUR / MONTH] key to set the month.
6. Press the [SW2: MINUTE / DAY] key to set the day.
7. Press the [SW1: SET] key to save the changes.
8. Press the [SW1: SET] key again to exit the programming mode.

The 5000E should return to the normal display
