The PayClock Online Setup Assistant allows you to migrate your data from PayClock Version 6 and 5.
(*NOTE: The Setup Assistant and PayClock Online related applications are no longer supported on Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 computers. Windows 8.1 or higher is required*)
How do I migrate from PayClock Version 6?
- From the computer where the PayClock Version 6 database is installed download and run the Setup Assistant.
- Click Next on the start screen. Accept the license agreement and click Next.
- Enter the Company ID, User ID and Password provided for PayClock Online.
- Press Login to verify the credentials. The migration step will display.
- Select “I want to migrate data from PayClock V6” and click Next.
- At the warning step click Migrate if you wish to continue. The online database will be populated with the data from the PayClock desktop product. Please note that after a completed migration the password to Payclock Online for all users other than Admin will be defaulted to lathem.
- Click Next and define your payroll products and terminals.
How do I migrate from PayClock Version 5?
- From the computer where the PayClock Version 5 database is installed download and run the Setup Assistant.
- Click Next on the start screen. Accept the license agreement and click Next.
- Enter the Company ID, User ID and Password provided for PayClock Online.
- Press Login to verify the credentials. The migration step will display.
- Select “I want to migrate data from PayClock V5” and click Next.
- Navigate to the folder where the PayClock Version 5 is installed. Typically C:PayClock.
- At the warning step click Migrate if you wish to continue. The online database will be populated with the data from the PayClock desktop product. Please note that after a completed migration the password to Payclock Online for all users other than Admin will be defaulted to lathem.
- Click Next and define your payroll products and terminals.
