Overview
In alignment with Microsoft Azure’s announcement regarding the deprecation of TLS 1.0 and 1.1 support, all Lathem PC700 and CT Series clocks must be updated before August 31, 2025, to maintain connectivity with PayClock Online.
Microsoft will discontinue support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 on their Application Gateway platform as of August 31, 2025. This change affects all networked devices that rely on these protocols for secure communication. For more information, refer to Microsoft’s official update here:

Action Required
All customers using PC700 and CT Series clocks must update their device firmware to ensure continued functionality with PayClock Online after August 31, 2025.
Compatible Firmware Versions
To ensure your clocks remain supported, they must be updated to the following minimum firmware versions:

Q: What happens if I don’t update the firmware?
After August 31, 2025, clocks running outdated firmware using TLS 1.0/1.1 will no longer be able to connect to PayClock Online.
Q: Can I still use the clock offline?
Some local features may remain accessible, but full functionality including cloud sync and real-time data uploads will be lost without the update.
Q: How long does the update take?
Firmware updates typically take 5–10 minutes. During the update, the clock will reboot.
