Accessing the computer where the PC50/PC60 Terminal is connected and where the PayClock Terminal Service Manager using Windows Remote Desktop can cause the PC50/PC60 Terminal to stop functioning. To correct the problem:
- Log out of Windows Remote Desktop connection.
- Restart the computer where the PC50/PC60 Terminal is connected.
- Verify the PC50/PC60 shows the date and time.
- Verify an employee can punch.
Using Windows Remote Desktop or Windows Remote Web Workplace will cause the PC50/PC60 Terminal to stop functioning. This is due to a limitation of the Digital Persona Console not having the ability to function when a remote connection is established. Programs such as VNC, LogMeIn or Teamviewer can be used to replace the Windows Remote Desktop connection.
