The DWA-H Work Alerter's internal horn is measured in decibels. The distance from the unit determines the loudness. This chart shows the distance in feet and the loudness in decibels.
As the distance increases, the loudness decreases. Noise from other items in the environment can decrease the ability to hear the internal horn. An external horn can be connected, if needed. |

The DWA-H Work Alerter cannot provide a dry contact closure or be connected to a paging system or tone generator. The Sonachron DWA-S can provide a dry contact closure to use in applications where a dry contact can be used, such as providing a dry contact for a paging system or tone generator.
