How To Calibrate The TruAlign On The 1600E

When TruAlign is enabled on the 1600E and you are getting E-05 on the clock even when properly aligning the card you may need to re-calibrate the clock. To do this:

1. Take the top off the clock.
2. Remove the clock from power by unplugging it.
3. Press and hold the Set
4. While holding the Set button reapply power to the clock.
5. The display will say Set 0.
6. Press the Change button once. The display should now show Set 1.
7. Press the Set button once.
8. The display will now show CAL 1.
9. Improperly insert a timecard, making it line up with the line between an IN and OUT punch.
10. A number will appear on the display. Slightly moving the card will cause the number to increase or decrease in value. Once the lowest number is located press Set.
11. The display will now show CAL 2.
12. Properly insert a timecard, making it line up in the middle of an IN box.
13. A number will appear on the display. Slightly moving the card will cause the number to increase or decrease in value. Once the highest number is located press Set.
14. The display will show END and then go back to Set 0.
15. Press the Set button once.

Once complete you can test a card to verify it is properly calibrated.
