There are some environmental and weather conditions that may influence the reception of the atomic radio signal. The Atomic radio signal can be disrupted by heavy metallic building structure or heavy electrical wiring. The WWVB Signal Readability could be unreadable in a specific time zone.
Ensure the correct Time Zone is set:
By default, the 7500E unit is shipped preset to Eastern Time. It may be necessary to update the unit to the correct time zone.
1. Remove the top cover.
2. Press and hold the DATE/TIME button for 3 seconds.
3. When the 7500E beeps, release the DATE/TIME
4. Press the CHANGE button to change the display format.
5. Press SET to save the change.
6. Press the CHANGE button to change the time zone. Options are:

8. Press SET again to exit the Programming Mode.
The Time Zone is set correctly but the time is still jumping:
If the time on the 7500E still jumps after the correct time zone has been set, it could be possible that the atomic radio is disrupted or the WWVB Signal can be unreadable in your specific time zone. The 7500E has a feature to only sync the minutes and seconds via the atomic radio, and leave the hour settings up to the DST settings preprogrammed in the clock.
1. Remove the top cover.

5. Press SET to save the change.
6. Press the CHANGE button to change the time zone to option 5.
7. Press SET to save the change.
