How To Set The Job Cost Mode On The 7500E

The 7500E can be configured for Job Cost Mode. Only the total hours are calculated. Regular and Overtime hours are not separated. Also, the timecards cannot be used to cover more than one pay period. In Job Cost Mode, timecards must be manually reset. To set the Job Cost Mode:

1. Remove the top cover.
2. Press and hold the FUNCTION button for 3 seconds.
3. When the 7500E beeps, release the FUNCTION
4. Press the FUNCTION button to move the Indicator Mark under MODE.
5. Press CHANGE to select the Mode to 5 for Job Cost.
6. Press SET to save the change.
7. Press the CHANGE to select the reset setting.

8. Press SET to save the change.
9. Press SET again to exit the Programming Mode.

When completed, the 7500E should return to the normal display. Trying to change the payroll mode while cards are stored will produce an E-49 Error and an All Cards Reset must be performed.
