The LTR-512 Series Master Clock's time accuracy is important for secondary clock synchronization. To ensure proper secondary clock synchronization as well as to ring external signalling devices at specific times, the relays must be enabled on the LTR-512 Master Clock. On LTR8-512 and LTR8-512M Master Clocks, Masterlink Software can be used to Set Active Schedules or Relays on the Master Clock. To manually enable the relays:
- Press [#] [0] [#].
- Enter the Password.
- Press [#] [6] [#].
- Press keys [1] through [8] to enable a Relay. On LTR4-512 Master Clocks, Press keys [1] through [4].
Synchronous ("SS") Clock systems should always have Relay 8 (and/or Relay 6) on.
Impulse ("ISC") Clock Systems should pulse Relay 8 (and/or Relay 6) once per minute. - Press [#].
- Press [#] to confirm the changes.
When completed the LTR-512 Master Series will return to the date and time. Seconds will start when the display has returned. On LTR8-512 and LTR8-512M Master Clocks, if using Masterlink, relays can be enabled in the software.
