The LTR-512 Series Master Clock's time accuracy is important for secondary clock synchronization as well as to ring external signalling devices at specific times. On LTR8-512 and LTR8-512M Master Clocks, Masterlink Software can be used to keep the time synchronized. The LTR8-512M can call the National Institute of Standards and Technology to synchronize its time once a week.
To manually set the date and time on the LTR-512 Series Master Clock:
- Press [#] [0] [#].
- Enter the Administrator Password.
- Press [#] [1] [#].
- Enter the numbers for the month, date and year (4-digit year) and [#].
If today's date is August 31, 2011, the key sequence is
[0] [8] [3] [1] [2] [0] [1] [1] [#] - Enter the day of the week and [#].

[3]=Tuesday |
[4]=Wednesday |
[5]=Thursday |
[6]=Friday |
[7]=Saturday |

- Enter the time, using either 12-hour or 24 hour format, then press [#].
- Press [0] for PM or [1] for AM, as needed.
- Press [#] to save the changes.
When completed the LTR-512 Master Series will return to the date and time. Seconds will start when the display has returned. On LTR8-512 and LTR8-512M Master Clocks, if using Masterlink, Update Master Time from the software.
