LTR-512 Master Pulses Constantly After Using Function 9

When using Function 9 to initiate a manual correction on an LTR Series Master Clock correcting Type 07 wall clocks, the master could keep pulsing, appearing to jump several minutes at a time. This is caused when the Resistor and/or Capacitor has not been installed. To correct the problem:

  1. Disconnect the Master Clock from AC Power.
  2. Install the Resistor and Capacitor shown in the Wiring Diagram for Type-07 in the master installation manual.

    The Resistor is necessary to provide a pull-up voltage to the Clock line, and the Capacitor is necessary to filter the Relay "bounce" condition.
  3. Reconnect the Master Clock to AC Power.
  4. Perform the Function 9 for the manual correction.
