The LTR-512 Series Master Clock's time accuracy is important for secondary clock synchronization and to ring external signalling devices at specific times. The firmware version must be the latest to ensure time accuracy. To determine the firmware version, press [*] on the keypad. The display should indicate the firmware version in the top right corner. The firmware version should be 5.01 or higher.

If the Serial Number is less than L-103073 and the firmware version is less than 5.01, the unit must be updated to the Firmware Version 5.01 or higher. As an alternative, an LTR-GPS can be connected to the Master Clock to synchronize the time. |

- The part number for the front panel for an LTR4-512 is SAI2540.
- The part number for the front panel for the LTR8-512 is SAI3540.
After the EPROM or front panel is installed, the Master Clock should keep the proper time.
