How To Set The Secondary Clock Type On An LTR-512 Master Clock

The LTR-512 Series Master Clock's time accuracy is important for secondary clock synchronization. To ensure proper secondary clock synchronization, the Secondary Clock Type Codes must be programmed on the LTR-512 Master Clock. On LTR8-512 and LTR8-512M Master Clocks, Masterlink Software can be used to set the Secondary Clock Types.

To manually set the Secondary Clock Types on the LTR-512 Series Master Clock:

1. Press [#]  [0]  [#].
2. Enter the Password.
3. Press [#]  [2]  [#].
4. Enter the 2-digit Secondary Clock Type Code for CLK1. Review the Installers Guide for the Clock Type Codes and wiring diagrams.
5. Press [#].
6. For LTR8-512 and LTR8-512M Master Clocks, Enter the 2-digit Secondary Clock Type Code for CLK2.
7. Press [#].
8. Press [#] to confirm the changes.

When completed the LTR-512 Master Series will return to the date and time. Seconds will start when the display has returned. On LTR8-512 and LTR8-512M Master Clocks, if using Masterlink, Secondary Clock Types can be selected on the Master Clock tab.
