How To Reset Cards When The 7000E Is In Job Cost Mode

The 7000E can be configured for Job Cost Mode. This mode keeps a running total on the cards until they are reset. To Reset the cards manually:

1. Before inserting a card into the 7000E, press the RESET button.

The Reset button with the cover on is the forth button on the panel. With the cover off, The Reset button is the SET button.

2. Insert a timecard to reset.

The 7000E will print RESET on the last line of the card.

If a punch is needed to complete a line on the card, the 7000E will finish the totals for that line then eject the card. The card must be reinserted to get RESET printed on the card.
