The 7000E calculates worked time between punches and accumulated totals on the card for a pay period using E-7 Cards. If the display shows E-05 when inserting a card:
- Verify the cards used are E-7 Cards. Generic cards cannot be used.
- Verify the cards are inserted correctly.
If the cards are the E-7 Cards and are properly inserted, the 7000E must be sent for repair. If it was purchased within the last 30 days, contact the vendor to have it replaced.
