How To Set The Job Cost Mode On The 7000E

The 7000E can be configured for Job Cost Mode. This mode keeps a running total on the cards until they are reset. To set the job cost mode:

1. Remove the top cover.
2. Press and hold the FUNCTION button for 3 seconds.
3. When the 7000E beeps, release the FUNCTION
4. Press the FUNCTION button to move the Indicator Mark under MODE.
5. Press CHANGE to select the Mode to 5 for Job Cost.
6. Press SET to save the change.
7. Press the CHANGE to select the reset setting. Options for the reset are:

9. Press SET again to exit the Programming Mode.

When completed, the unit should return to the normal display. At the end of the period, cards must be reset to start a new period. Changing the Payroll Mode cannot be done if cards are stored in memory. An All Cards Reset must be done before changing the mode.
