Setting Up the Asure Payroll Integration in PayClock Online
You can easily connect PayClock Online with Asure Payroll to streamline your payroll process. Follow the steps below to set up the integration.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following information from your Payroll Admin(normally the account holder):
Asure Account ID
The Asure Account ID can be found on any payroll report. It appears before the company name in the top-left corner of all payroll reports.
Company Name
Admin Name
Admin Email
Admin Phone Number
Step-by-Step Setup
Log in to your PayClock Online account.
From the left-hand menu, click Integrations.
Click + New.
Select Integration: Asure Payroll.
The Asure Payroll Wizard will open. Review the information you’ll need and then click Next.
Select the Pay Class(es) that you want to sync with Asure Payroll, then click Next.
Enter the following details:
Asure Account ID
Company Name
Payroll Admin Name
Payroll Admin Email
Payroll Admin Phone Number
Integration Nickname (a label to easily identify this integration)
Click Next.
A confirmation screen will appear showing Processing Requested. You’ll receive an email once the integration has been set up and is ready for use.
Click Save.
What Happens Next
Once the integration is complete, you’ll receive an email confirmation.
The Sync buttons will appear in PayClock Online, allowing you to start syncing data with Asure Payroll.
Using the Integration
Once the integration status is completed, the sync options will become available and you can finish setting up and using the integration.
Step 1: Map Pay Codes
- At the top of the screen, click the Pay Codes tab.
- Match each used PayClock Pay Code to the corresponding Asure Payroll Item.
- Save your changes once all pay codes are mapped.
Step 2: Sync and Map Employees (Personnel Sync)
- Return to the General tab.
- Click the Personnel Sync button.
- The system will attempt to match employees between PayClock and Asure Payroll.
If there are unmapped employees:
- A Sync Conflicts notification will appear.
- Click View Conflicts to review.
- Match each PayClock Employee to the correct Asure Employee.
Additional options:
- Select Create New Employee to add an employee from Asure into PayClock.
- Select Exclude if you do not want that employee included in the sync.
- Complete and save all mappings before proceeding.
Step 3: Run Payroll Sync
- Click the Payroll Sync button.
- In the new window, select the appropriate Pay Period to sync.
- Click Synchronize.
Once completed:
- Hours from PayClock will be sent to Asure Payroll.
- A confirmation notification will appear indicating the sync is complete.
Important Notes:
- There must be an open corresponding payroll and batch in Asure Payroll, or the sync will fail.
- Only one payroll can be open at a time. If multiple payrolls are open, the sync will fail.
