How To Program A Security Code On A DWA-S Sonachron Program Timer

The Sonachron must be programmed with the date, the time, security code and events for bell ringing or as a controller. Following initial power up of unit, the display should show SECURITY CODE. The security code is usually set on initial power up. If no security code was set at initial power up, it can be set at a later time. To set the security code:

1. Remove the left panel.
2. Locate the dip switches.
3. Flip Dip Switch #2 to the OFF position then back to the ON position or vice versa.
4. Review the digital display. It should show SECURITY CODE with days programmed.
5. In any order, Press four Day Of Week keys, SUN through SAT.
6. Press RUN.
7. The display will show UNSECURED MANUAL or SECURE ALL FUNCT.
8. Press RUN again.

After the security code is programmed and if SECURE ALL FUNCT was selected, the unit will require the security code to review or change scheduled events and features. For further assistance, contact our Technical Support Department at 404-691-1064.
