How To Set Up The Signalling Devices Time Table Program On A 5000E Plus

Lathem's 5000E Plus offers the Optional 30-Volt Plug-In Relay Board(Discontinued) for connecting bells and synchronizing to a Lathem Master as a secondary slave clock. Scheduled events must be set in order for the unit to signal devices at specified times. To set up the time table program:

1. Remove the top cover.
2. Press SELECT. If a password is set, the time recorder will display 99 99.
3. Enter the password. The password is required to access the time recorder settings. If it is unknown, the time recorder must be reset. To enter the password:
   • Press CHANGE to enter the first two numbers of the password.
   • Press SET.
   • Press CHANGE to enter the second two numbers of the password.
   • Press SET
4. Press SELECT to position the Indicator Mark over TIME TABLE PROGRAM.
5. press CHANGE to select the Program Number to enter the scheduled event.
6. Press SET to save the changes. This will confirm the set up of the Program Number choice which will remain on the left side of the display while programming.
7. Press CHANGE to select the Day Of The Week code:

8. Press SET to save the changes. This will confirm the Day of the Week code choice.
9. Press CHANGE to select the signalling Device:

10. Press SET to confirm the signalling device code choice.
11. Press CHANGE to select the Hour for the time of the scheduled event.
12. Press SET to confirm the hour.
13. Press CHANGE to select the minutes for the time of the scheduled event.
14. Press SET to confirm the minutes.

When completed, the time recorder should return to the normal display.
