How To Set The Print Method On The 5000E Plus

The 5000E Plus can be configured for the Print Method to print from the left or right. The print activation can be configured for Automatic, Semi-Automatic, Manual and Combination. By default, the unit prints automatically from right to left. To set the print method:

1. Remove the top cover.
2. Press Select. If a password is set, the display will show 99 99.
3. Enter the password. The password is required to access the time recorder settings. If it is unknown, the time recorder must be reset. To enter the password:
   • Press CHANGE to enter the first two numbers of the password.
   • Press SET.
   • Press CHANGE to enter the second two numbers of the password.
   • Press SET
4. Press Select to position the Indicator Mark under PRINT METHOD.
5. Press CHANGE to select the Print Direction.

6. Press SET to save the changes.
7. Press CHANGE to select the Print Activation.

8. Press SET to save the changes.
9. Press SET again to exit from the Programming Mode.

When completed, the unit should return to the normal display.
