How To Set The Rounding On The 7000E

The 7000E can be configured for Hours rounding or Punch rounding. Before setting the rounding type and rule, review them to determine which rounding type(See attached) and rule works best. To set the rounding:

1. Insert the key into the Top Cover and turn it 1/4 turn to unlock the cover.
2. By holding the left and right sides, lift the Top Cover up.
3. Press and hold the FUNCTION button for 3 seconds.
4. When the 7000E beeps, release the FUNCTION
5. Press the FUNCTION button to move the Indicator Mark under ROUNDING.
6. Press the CHANGE button to select the Rounding Type.
7. Press SET to save the change.
8. Press the CHANGE button to select the Rounding Unit.
9. Press SET to save the change.
10. Press SET again to exit the Programming Mode.

When completed, the 7000E should return to the normal display. Changing the rounding cannot be done if cards are stored in memory. An E-49 Error can occur when changing the roundind rule. An All Cards Reset must be done before changing the rule.
