How To Set The Time On A 5000E Plus

Setting the time on the 5000E Plus is essential for accurate time tracking and record keeping. To set the time on the time recorder:

1. Insert the key into the Top Cover and turn it 1/4 turn to unlock the cover.
2. By holding the left and right sides, lift the Top Cover up.
3. Press Select. If a password is set on the 5000E Plus, the time recorder will display 99 99.
4. Enter the password. The password is required to access the time recorder settings. If the password is unknown, the time recorder must be reset.
   • Press CHANGE to enter the first two numbers of the password.
   • Press SET to save the changes.
   • Press CHANGE to enter the second two numbers of the password.
   • Press SET twice to confirm the password and enter the Programming Mode.
5. Press Select to position the Indicator Mark under Time.
6. Press CHANGE to change the hour.
7. Press SET to save the changes.
8. If the minute’s need adjusting, Press CHANGE to set the minutes.
9. Press SET twice to save the changes made.

When completed, the time recorder display should return to the normal.
