PC600 Poll Doesn't Complete Or Takes A Long Time

When polling a PC600 doesn't complete or takes a long time, it could be due to the firmware version. To check the firmware version:

1. At the PC600, press the Admin
2. Enter the Admin password. The default password is 9 9 9 9 9.
3. Press Device Information.

The firmware version would be in the bottom right corner of the display. To correct problems of slow or incomplete polling, the firmware must be updated to 1.2.10.0 or higher. To do so:

1. At the PC600, press the Admin
2. Enter the Admin password. The default password is 9 9 9 9 9.
3. Press Device Information.
4. Press Check for Updates.

If the network security allows it, the terminal should be able to download and update the firmware. If the firmware is not 1.2.10.0 or higher, submit a ticket to our support team to have the latest version of firmware sent with instructions to update from a blank thumb drive.
